Alenka Hriberšek
Founder of Spoon&Compass, a seasoned tour guide and trip designer with decades of experience in the travel industry. Known to her guests as a “wonder woman from Ljubljana,” she’s the kind of guide who takes care of everything, down to the tiniest detail, so you can simply enjoy the ride. Alenka combines her skills as a certified guide with her passion for fine food and wine, weaving outdoor adventures with authentic encounters. Her travelers describe her as “over-the-top friendly,” “super knowledgeable,” and “a joy to be around.” With Alenka, every active holiday transforms into a flavorful journey through local cuisine, rich culture, and authentic ways of life.
Luka Markež
Luka is a cultural heritage interpreter, organic farmer, passionate photographer, and guide with a background in Art History and Sociology of Culture from the University of Ljubljana. More at home on a mountain trail than behind a desk, he specializes in bringing Slovenia’s natural and cultural heritage to life through engaging stories and local insights. When he’s not guiding travelers, he can usually be found tending his organic farm or planning his next adventure to a remote corner of the world. With Luka, every journey becomes a deeper exploration of landscapes through traditions of the people who shape them.
Katja Ule
Katja is equal parts urban adventurer, mountain goat, and an encyclopedia of knowledge that always comes in handy. Although trained at the Florence Academy of Arts, she discovered her true passion outside the studio, creating memorable experiences through storytelling and a genuine love for nature and people. When she’s not guiding travelers, she turns into a dangerously good cook with a talent for transforming healthy ingredients into comfort food. Her enthusiasm for her home country is contagious, so be prepared to fall in love with Slovenia.
